This is the install for my new Magnaflow dual exhaust system.

The install was not that bad. It can be done in your driveway, if you have the right tools. The install sheet from Magnaflow.com explains how to put it together.

Stock exhaust.

This baby was going bye bye.

This is what the system looks like right out of the box.

Time to work.

Putting the car up on ramps gives enough clearance, but working in a pit would be better.

Cuttin' time!

There was not enough clearance to pull the stock pipe out, so it had to be cut in half.

The tips are nice.

Internals.

The insides look interesting.

Creating clearance.

There was also a problem with clearning the spare tire well, so I placed a piece of card board between these two spots while I tightened everything up.

Cutting it back.

The new pipes stuck out a little to far, so I cut the Y pipe back a quarter of an inch on each side. I'll replace this later with an X pipe.

Notching the bumper.

Doing body work is not my specialty, but it had to be done. You only need a few simple tools.

Outline.

Place paper with scotch tape over the bumper and outline the passenger side mold. It is MUCH easier to do it from the inside of the bumper!

Cut the mold.

Use a knife or box cutter to cut your outline.

Check.

Check it from the outside too.

Line it up.

Place the paper over the drivers side. I made sure to take exact measurments from the passenger side.

Mark it.

I outlined the pattern so I wouldn't get crazy with the Moto tool.

Tool.

I used a moto tool to cut the bumper.

Practice.

Do a few cuts in the bumper to get use to how you are going to cut it.

Scrapes.

This is what's left over.

Touchup.

Use a file to even everything out. Use inward strokes.

Check it.

Check out your cuts.
